How the candidate signs the contract
What the candidate sees: WhatsApp message with link, 2FA check if required, digital signature and confirmation.

The candidate signs the contract from their phone. They receive a link on WhatsApp, confirm their identity if required, and sign.
What the candidate does
- They receive the Document submission message on WhatsApp with the link to the contract.
- They open the link and see the full contract.
- If signing is Sequential, they already see the HR manager's signature.
- If 2FA is on, they enter the verification code they receive by SMS on the phone number provided.
- They sign in the Signature fields.
- They submit the signed document.
What happens after signing
- After signing, the candidate doesn't receive a dedicated message from Klaaryo.
- In the Participants signing status you'll see Signed on ….
- The candidate's status changes to Offer signed.
Good to know
- The signing page is the one from the configured provider, for example DocuSeal or YouSign.
- With Sequential signing, the link reaches the candidate only after the HR manager has signed.
- With Parallel signing, the candidate and the HR manager can sign in any order.
Common issues
The candidate says they didn't receive the verification code. The SMS code is sent by the signature provider (YouSign or DocuSeal) to the number in the Phone field: check that it's correct. If the number is right, open a request from the support chat.
The candidate didn't receive the link. With sequential signing, the HR manager has to sign first. In the Participants signing status you'll see Waiting for the HR manager's signature.
