How to search and filter conversations in the Inbox
Search by name, filter by campaign, chat status and candidate status, and keep simulated chats separate.
Updated on Oct 12, 2026
In the Inbox you can search for a conversation by name and filter the list by campaign, chat status and candidate status. You can combine the filters.
Where to find it: Inbox → top of the chat list
Steps
- Open the Inbox.
- Choose the Candidates or Managers tab.
- Type the name in the Search by name field (or press ⌘+F).
- Open the Campaigns filter and choose one or more campaigns.
- Open Chat status and choose the status. You can search for the status by typing in the Start typing to search... field.
- If needed, open Pipeline stage and choose the selection status.

Chat statuses you can filter by
- Assessment in progress: the agent is screening.
- Assessment completed: screening is done.
- Expired chats: no activity for more than 24 hours.
- Human intervention required: the agent has stopped and a person is needed.
- Agent waiting for reply: the agent is waiting for the candidate to reply.
- Candidate waiting for reply: the candidate is waiting for a reply.
- Interview booked.
- Chat with experimental AI
Campaign status color
In the Campaigns filter, each campaign shows its status with a colored dot.
| Color | Status | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Green | Active | The agent contacts and evaluates candidates. |
| Orange | Paused | The agent finishes active chats but doesn't start new ones. |
| Gray | Archived | The campaign is closed. |
| – | Draft | The campaign hasn't been launched yet. |
Good to know
- To quickly find the chats where you need to step in, filter Chat status → Human intervention required. The same requests are also in Intervention requests in the sidebar.
- Test chats have the Simulation tag. To see them, use the icon next to Inbox (Show only simulated chats / Back to real chats).
- To pause or reactivate a campaign, read Pause a campaign.
Common issues
I can't find a candidate with search. Check that there are no active filters on campaigns, chat status or candidate status. Remember that you only see chats from campaigns you're part of.
I can't find an interview manager's chat. Switch to the Managers tab.
