What the Inbox is and what you'll find in it
The Inbox collects your chats with candidates and interview managers from the campaigns you're part of, with status filters and simulated chats.
Updated on Oct 12, 2026
The Inbox is where you read and manage all the conversations from the campaigns you're part of. From here you follow the AI agent's chats with candidates, write to interview managers, and step in when needed.
Where to find it: sidebar → Inbox (shortcut ⌘+G)

What you'll find in the Inbox
- Candidates and Managers tabs (top left). They separate chats with candidates from chats with interview managers.
- Chat status and Pipeline stage filters. They show only chats at a certain stage, for example Expired chats or Human intervention required.
- Search (Search by name, ⌘+F) and Campaigns filter at the top.
- Chat list. Each chat shows the name, a preview of the last message, the chat status and the candidate status.
- Conversation (in the middle, when you open a chat). You see the history, the agent's messages, your own interventions, and the WhatsApp buttons shown to the candidate.
- Panel on the right with the History and Evaluation tabs.
- At the bottom of the chat, the This conversation is managed by your AI agent. toggle. If you turn it off, you handle the chat yourself.
Good to know
- You only see conversations from campaigns you're part of.
- Each candidate has only one conversation, even if they take part in several campaigns or change channel. Read How conversations work: threads, channels and multiple campaigns.
- Chats created with Test the conversation (the campaign's "…" menu) are simulated chats and have the Simulation tag. Use the icon at the top next to Inbox to switch from Show only simulated chats to Back to real chats. Read How to test a campaign before launch.
- The other icon next to Inbox refreshes the list.
- A chat expires after 24 hours of inactivity. To write to the candidate again you need a template. Read How to step into a conversation manually.
Common issues
Where do I find the Inbox? In the sidebar, under MAIN MENU, at Inbox.
Can I use the Inbox on my phone? No. The Klaaryo app for admins and recruiters only works on a computer: on a phone you'll see a warning. Hiring managers have a dedicated platform that also works on a phone.
I see test chats mixed in with real ones. They're simulated chats, with the Simulation tag. Use the simulations icon at the top to separate them.
I can't see a candidate's chat. You're probably not part of the campaign. Ask an admin to add you as a collaborator (the campaign's "…" menu → Collaborators). Also read The interview manager can't log in or can't see their campaigns.
