How to create a new job role
Create a job role with a name, FAQs, questions, filters and evaluation criteria, ready to link to campaigns.
Updated on Oct 12, 2026
You create a job role to define just once how the agent screens candidates for a position.
Where to find it: Recruiting → Job roles → Create role
Steps
- Go to Recruiting → Job roles and click Create role.
- In the Details step, enter the Role name (e.g. Addetto/a sala).
- Still in Details, fill in Equivalent names, Role FAQ and Assign the Hiring Manager group if needed.
- In the Questions step, choose and customize the Filter questions. Use Add conditional question for alternative paths.
- In the Evaluation step, turn on the Filters you need.
- Still in Evaluation, add the Evaluation criteria, give each one a Weight (importance) and set the Minimum passing score (e.g. 60).
- In the Summary step (Review and confirm), check the details and save.
- If the job role is still in Draft, click Activate to use it in campaigns.
- Link the job role to campaigns. See How to link a job role to a campaign.

Good to know
- Every filter must have a linked question. Without a question, the filter can't be evaluated.
- The criteria's importance must add up to 100%. If it doesn't, the app warns you and offers to normalize the weights.
- The job role's FAQs apply to all linked campaigns. General FAQs go in Agent.
- Internal notes: notes visible only to your team, not used in the evaluation.
- Details on each step: How to write a job role's screening questions, Filters and evaluation criteria: how they work and how they differ, How job role FAQs work.
Common issues
I saved but the job role is still in Draft. Open the job role and click Activate. Only an Active job role can be linked to campaigns.
Can I start from a job role I already have? Yes. Click … on the job role card and then Duplicate.
