How to link a job role to a campaign
Assign an active job role to one or more campaigns from the job role menu or from its detail page.
Updated on Oct 12, 2026
You link a job role to a campaign so the agent uses that job role's name, questions and evaluation.
Where to find it: Recruiting → Job roles → the job role's … menu → Assign
Before you start
- The job role must be Active. A job role in Draft or Archived can't be linked.
Steps: from the job role list
- Go to Recruiting → Job roles.
- Click … on the job role card.
- Click Assign.
- In the Assign role window, search for and select one or more campaigns. You can use Select all.
- Click Assign.

Steps: from the job role detail page
- Open the job role from Recruiting → Job roles.
- Scroll down to the Campaigns block.
- Click Assign and choose the campaigns.
Good to know
- A job role can be linked to several campaigns at once.
- After you assign it, the agent uses the job role's name, questions, evaluation and connected collection in new conversations of the chosen campaigns. Conversations that already started continue as before.
- Assigning overwrites the campaign's questions, filters and criteria with those of the job role. If you had customized the campaign, those changes are lost.
- After you edit the job role, the app asks which campaigns to apply the changes to (Select the campaigns in which to apply the role changes).
Common issues
I can't assign the job role. Check that it's Active. If it's in Draft, open it and click Activate.
I can't find the campaign in the window. Search for it by name and check that it isn't archived.
