What a Job title is
Job titles are the levels in your company; they decide who can manage applications and who supervises whom.

Job levels are the levels in your company, for example "Store manager" or "Addetto vendite". Each person can have a job title, and their permissions follow the job title.
Where to find it: Settings → Organization → Job levels (Manage job levels)
Steps
- Go to Settings → Organization → Job levels.
- Click New job level.
- In Job level info, write the Job level name.
- Turn on the flags you need:
- Hiring manager: staff with this job title can manage applications for campaigns.
- Supervisor: people with this job title do performance reviews of other people. It only appears if you have the Performance module.
- If needed, in Supervised by choose the job title that supervises this one.
- Click Create job level.

After you create it
- Assign the job title to people from Staff, with New employee or Edit.
- In a CSV import you can assign the same job title to everyone you import.
- In the job title you can see People with this job level.
Good to know
- To let a new employee handle interviews, give them a job title with the Hiring manager flag.
- Only a job title with the Supervisor flag can be chosen in Supervised by.
- Job titles are used by the Recruiting module (who does the interviews) and the Performance module (who does the performance reviews).
- A job title currently has two Scopes: Hiring manager, which appears with the Recruiting module and means people with the job title do interviews, and Supervisor, which appears with the Performance module and means they do performance reviews of other people.
- Don't confuse the job title with a campaign's Role, that is, the position with screening questions and criteria.
Common issues
I created an employee but they can't handle interviews. Check their job title. It must have the Hiring manager flag turned on.
