How to change a campaign's settings
What you can change in the blocks of a campaign's Settings tab: setup, information, conversation, locations, context, interviews and collection.
Updated on Oct 12, 2026
In a campaign's Settings tab you change the language, the texts shown to the candidate, questions, locations, FAQs, interview mode and linked collection. You can do it at any time.
Where to find it: Campaigns → open the campaign → Settings tab
Before you start
Changes apply to conversations that start after you save. Conversations already started don't change.

Steps
- Open the campaign and go to the Settings tab.
- Click the block you want to change, or click Expand all.
- Click Edit or the pencil icon next to the field.
- Change the value and save.
- Test the conversation from the … menu → Test the conversation.
The blocks of the Settings tab
Setup
- Linked Agent: the agent that manages the campaign. With Go to agent setup you open its configuration.
- Campaign language: the language the agent uses to contact new candidates. The candidate can still ask to change it during the conversation.
- Automatic pre-screening: if on, the agent starts the evaluation conversation when a candidate applies. If off, applications are only collected, without evaluation.
Information
- Description of the position: the text the agent uses to answer questions about the position.
- Job description URL: the link to the job ad.
- Job position: the position title.
- Company name: useful if you want to show a different brand from your account's.

Conversation
- Role, Questions, Criteria: with Edit you change the linked job role, questions, filters, criteria and Minimum passing score for this campaign.
- Send a follow-up to candidates: if the candidate doesn't reply within 6 hours, the agent sends a contextual follow-up.

Stores you are hiring for
- With Add location you choose the work locations. Without locations, the agent uses the job description to answer candidates.
- Location name: the location name used in messages to the candidate, for example in the opening template. Recommended: 30 characters max.
- Derive the location name from the stores: if on, the Location name is built automatically from the names of the linked locations and can't be edited by hand.
Additional context FAQs that apply only to this campaign (e.g. hours, parking). They are added to the agent's and the job role's FAQs.
Interview Invitation Mode Automatic, Manual or No interviews. See How to set up a campaign's interviews.
Linked collection The document collection that starts when the candidate reaches a status. See How to start a collection automatically (activation).
Good to know
- If you change the Campaign language, the app asks you to confirm: the change applies to all new conversations.
- The new Location name is only used in upcoming messages: candidates already contacted aren't notified.
- See also Change the location name the candidate sees.
Common issues
I changed the questions but candidates in progress get the old ones. That's normal: changes only apply to new conversations.
The agent speaks the wrong language. The starting language is the Campaign language in the Setup block. After that, the agent keeps the language the candidate writes in.
The candidate sees the wrong location name. Correct the Location name in the Stores you are hiring for block.
Applications come in but the agent doesn't contact anyone. Check that Automatic pre-screening is on and that the campaign isn't Paused.
