Create an interview session

Open the time windows where candidates book: date, times, positions, location, type, group type and slots.

Updated on Oct 12, 2026

A session is a block of time when you hold interviews. It's split into slots that candidates book on WhatsApp.

Where to find it: Home → Create new session. Also from Sessions overview → Create new session or the + button at the bottom right.

Before you start

Steps

  1. Click Create new session. The New session panel opens.
  2. If the session repeats every week, turn on Make the session recurring.
  3. In When? choose the date and time (from, to). For more dates, click Add another session.
  4. In For which positions? choose the positions.
  5. In Type choose On-site, Call or Video.
  6. In Interview location choose the location, from the ones assigned to you. The field becomes active after you choose a position.
  7. In Group type choose Individual or Group.
  8. Choose the Slot duration: 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
  9. Set the number of candidates per slot.
  10. Click Create. You'll see Interview session created!.

New session panel

Individual or Group

  • Individual: each slot is split into micro-slots of the length you chose. Each candidate books their own time.
  • Group: several candidates at the same interview. See Group sessions of up to 250 candidates.

Good to know

  • Your company decides how far in advance candidates can book. A session that's too close may show as Not bookable: see Common issues for interview managers.
  • Candidates who already booked get the new details if you edit the session.
  • If the new session overlaps with another one, the app asks you to confirm and shows you which session overlaps.

Common issues

I can't choose the location. Choose the position first: Interview location shows the locations of that position that are assigned to you.

"Position paused" or "no campaign linked" error. The position is suspended or not assigned to you. Check in Criteria and demand or ask your HR contact.
