After the interview, you record the outcome for each candidate. You can do it from the session in Klaaryo or by replying to the feedback request you get on WhatsApp.
Where to find it: Interviews → Manage my interviews → click the session → See interviews and CVs
Steps
- Go to Interviews → Manage my interviews.
- Click the session and then See interviews and CVs. The button works even if the session isn't over.
- Next to the candidate, click Update outcome.
- In the Interview outcomes panel, under Select outcome, choose Suitable, Not suitable or No show. To hire appears if your company uses it.
- If you want, write a note in Additional notes.
- If your company has the Pre-boarding module, under Select collection choose the collection to start for the candidate (documents and contract).
- If you don't want to assess that candidate now, click Skip and move on to the next one.
- Click Next to confirm and move on to the next candidate. At the end you'll see Interview outcomes updated!.

The outcomes
| Outcome | When to use it |
|---|---|
| To hire | You want to go ahead with the hire. |
| Suitable | The interview went well but you haven't decided yet. |
| Not suitable | The candidate isn't a fit for the position. |
| No show | The candidate didn't show up. |
The outcome updates the candidate's status (for example Interview - fit, Interview - not a fit, To hire, No show).

Good to know
- The feedback request arrives on WhatsApp. With the Per interview mode it arrives at the end of each interview; with Daily recap it arrives at the end of the session for all candidates who attended. From the message you mark suitable, not suitable or didn't show up.
- You can turn on a reminder for people who haven't given feedback yet, and the move from Suitable to To hire. See Interview feedback: reminders and moving from Good fit to To be hired.
- If you mark a candidate Not suitable, they automatically get an outcome message. You can customize the text from the Agent page. See How to customize interview outcome and closing messages.
- In the interviews view, the interview detail shows the Interview outcome and the Additional notes.
Common issues
I confirmed the wrong outcome: what do I do? Once entered, the manager can't change the outcome. An admin user corrects it from the campaign by changing the candidate's status: if you're not an admin, ask one. If you marked Not suitable by mistake, the candidate may have already received the outcome message: write to them from the Inbox.
The candidate didn't show up. Mark No show. If you want to give them another chance, contact them from the Inbox and offer a new slot.
I haven't decided on a candidate yet. Use Skip and come back later.
I don't see Update outcome. Check that you're in Manage my interviews and that you're the manager of that session.
